After working with many Clinical, Biomedical, Radiology, and Facilities Engineers at Hospitals nationally, we learned many additional benefits of providing complete protection for the imaging suites. One advantage of supporting imaging modalities with full UPS protection is that x-ray tube life can double, compared to imaging modalities with no, or partial, UPS protection. The cost savings associated with doubling tube life practically pays for the UPS System.
